New Delhi, Jan. 16 (ANI): Dense fog enveloped in north India as cold wave intensified on Friday, affecting normal life
Rail services were hit in the region with cancellation of over 60 trains. Flight operations, however, were normal at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport here.
After over a fortnight, Delhi’ites too felt nip in the air as dense fog cover greeted them on a wintry morning, with both minimum and maximum dropping by about four degrees.
Mercury dipped in most parts of the Kashmir Valley, while the minimum temperature rose by six degrees in Leh town.
Kargil was the coldest place in the Valley.
Cold conditions also prevailed in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan with mercury dropping by few notches. (ANI)
