One of the most talked about festivals of the year, VIVA Goa creates a unique opportunity for GTA residents to experience exotic Goan culture and traditions. Brought to you by the Goan Overseas Association (G.O.A.), this year the stage is set to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday with an exciting lineup of events, a creative display of Goan arts and crafts plus delicious Goan cuisine.
Highlights of the festival include:
• Various sporting events such as Bubble Soccer, volleyball, swimming, carrom
• Young entrepreneurs showcasing their businesses
• Vendors selling authentic Goan food and delicious pickles
The G.O.A. is a not-for-profit organization that is socially conscious and compassionate towards the community. The organization has aligned with the Food Bank Mississauga, “Our Partners of Impact” to spearhead the Food Drive to collect non-perishable items, to build a stronger, more compassionate Canada over the next 150 years.
