Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman receives guard of honour

New Delhi, Sept.7 (ANI): Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, received a guard of honour on Monday at the South Block here.

Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral R.K. Dhowan was present at the event.

“We have very close relationships with the Oman’s Navy and I am sure that the Admiral’s visit will further help to strengthen the bridges of friendship between our two navies and open up avenue of cooperation between our two countries,” Admiral R.K. Dhowan told ANI.

Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi appreciated the shipyards of India saying, “India is one of those shipyards which would be invited if we undertake any projects. In fact one of the shipyards built for us and some others were also involved in various other projects.”

Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman also wished the Indian Navy the best for their future projects. (ANI)
