Kiran Johal’s life depends on finding a stem cell match

An 18-year-old Kiran Johal who recently graduated from North Delta Secondary School was diagnosed less than a year ago with severe a plastic anemia and needs a stem cell transplant to save her life.

As there are no potential matches within her family, Kiran, her friends and family are encouraging all eligible donors to come out to give the gift of life in hopes of helping her and all patients like her.

A blood donor and stem cell swab clinic to find a match was set up on Wednesday. More such clinics may be set up in the hope of finding a match. Meanwhile everyone is praying and hoping for what can be called a miracle. – CINEWS
