Conference in Islamabad addresses reservation on CPEC

Islamabad, Jan 12(ANI): The All Parties Conference (APC) in Pakistan addressed reservation on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in a project hosted by the Balochistan National Party-Mengal Group (BNP-M) and has asked the Pakistan Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to stay the course on his promises.

The conference was addressed by the BNP-Mengal chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehmanand including various other dignitaries, The News International reports.

Fazlur Rehman asked Sharif to take up the issues of Balochistan and Gwadar and added that the Prime Minister himself had expressed his desire to hold an APC on Balochistan.

The spokesman said China was ready to cooperate closely with Pakistan for an early implementation of the mega project if favorable conditions sustain in the later.

The speakers stressed on timely completion of CPEC routes and urged the government to address Balochistan’s reservations on the corridor. (ANI)
