Contest open for Tendulkar fans to connect with his film

Everybody is talking about MS Dhoni’s biopic nowadays and not about the Little Master Sachin Tendulkar’s film named ‘Sachin Tendulkar: A billion dreams.’

Obviously to rekindle interest of the fans of the cricketing legend Sachin and steal the thunder from MS Dhoni’s biopic, the producers are launching a project to make his fans part of the  upcoming movie.

After the positive response to the teaser, producers 200 Not Out, Carnival Motion Pictures along with DBS Bank India have launched an online contest #LiveMoreWithSachin inviting fans to share memorable videos of the cricket legend to be featured in the film, said a statement.

Fans can upload their favourite videos of Tendulkar shot on or off the field on http://www.LiveMoreWithSachin.com during the contest period from Thursday to November 6, 2016.

The content in the video can comprise of fan and selfie videos, clips taken with Sachin or without him – on streets, stadium, cheering and celebrating for him in India or across the world.

From the entries received, best entries will be featured in the movie and the winners will get a chance to meet Sachin in person.

The retired batsman, who played an astonishing 200 Tests and scored 100 centuries across all three formats of the game, retired in 2013. He scored 34,357 runs played in the 664 international matches that he played. Awarded India’s highest civilian honour – the Bharat Ratna – last year, Tendulkar is a sitting Rajya Sabha MP.

Sachin, 42, is making his acting debut with the movie, which has been directed by award-winning British director James Erskine. – CINEWS
