Counselling service for troubled couples in Peel

Brampton, March 18 (CINEWS): Help is on the way for couples in the Peel and Dufferin region who face strain in their marriage. Among South Asian community, domestic violence is an issue that is the result of couples not getting along.
A pilot project by Catholic Family Services Peel Dufferin (CFSPD), will offer couples who’ve experienced violence in the past 12 hours of free professional counseling at CFSPD’s Brampton and Mississauga locations.
Those interested in participating are urged to call the central intake line at 905-450-1608 ext. 112.
Emotionally Focused Therapy has a proven track record and it is hoped that this form of therapy could eliminate violence in a very combustible relationship.
Anyone who has been a victim of violence but sees hope to work things out could benefit from this invaluable counseling service.
