Dalmiya made immense contribution to growth of cricket: Amit Shah

New Delhi, Sept. 20 (ANI): Condoling the demise of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Jagmohan Dalmiya, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Sunday said that the former had made an immense contribution to the growth of cricket.

“My deepest condolences to the family of Shri Jagmohan Dalmiya on his demise …a big loss not only for Indian but World cricket,” Shah tweeted.

“Shri Dalmiya made an immense contribution to growth of cricket with his vision & pragmatic approach. May his soul rest in peace,” he said in another tweet.

Dalmiya passed away this evening following a massive cardiac arrest. He was 75 years old.

Dalmiya was admitted to BM Birla Heart Research Centre on Thursday due to a heart problem. (ANI)
