Mumbai, November 29(CINEWS): Actor Darshan Kumar, who played Priyanka Chopra’s spouse in ‘Mary Kom’, feels fortunate to be offering screen space to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in an up and coming biopic on Indian detainee Sarabjit Singh.
In light of the narrative of Sarabjit, who was sentenced terrorism by the Pakistani court, the film will be coordinated by Omung Kumar.
“I feel fortunate, honored to be working with Aishwarya. I am energized and anxious about working with her. She is a skilled performing artist. It’s a major film and an awesome open door for me as a performing artist,” Darshan told PTI.
The biopic has Aishwarya assuming the part of Dalbir Kaur while Randeep Hooda plays her sibling and Sarabjit, the hero.
Darshan will be depicting the part of Khalid Pervaiz, a Pakistani legal advisor who battles for Sarabjit’s equity.
“I need to realize his non-verbal communication, adjust how he talks and strolls. I will need to lose some weight. We plan to meet the legal advisor,” said Darshan, who was additionally seen in ‘NH10’.
This is Darshan’s second film with Omung. “We share an incredible comparison. We know one another exceptionally well. He is an extremely minding individual,” he included.
Darshan will begin shooting for “Sarabjit” one month from now.
