Mumbai, November 28 (CINEWS): Darshan Kumar who was seen in movies like Mary Kom and NH10 will be seen in a prominent part in Omung Kumar’s Sarbjit. He will be portraying the part of Khalid Pervaiz, a Pakistani legal counselor who battles for Sarabjit’s equity.
Darshan has beforehand worked with Omung in his presentation directorial Mary Kom and the chief who is excited about the second time association with the performer said, “Darshan Kumar is a brilliant on-screen character who gave an outstanding performance in my past film Mary Kom. When I began working on my second biopic Sarabjit, I was certain that I need an exceptionally decent on-screen character who might do full equity to this specific part. I called Darshan for a narration and in the wake of hearing it; he instantly said yes and included that he would do anything for me given the admiration he has for me. This truly touched my heart.”
In view of the genuine story of Sarabjit, a Pakistani prisoner who was convicted of terrorism by the Pakistani court, the film Sarabjit presents the version of his sister Dalbir Kaur who battled for her sibling’s equity. Khalid Pervaiz was more than a friend and a sibling to Sarabjit and was a noteworthy backing for his sister Dalbir Kaur’s battle to free him from the Pakistani correctional facility.
Sarabjit has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan playing the part of Dalbir Kaur while Randeep Hooda plays her sibling and the protagonist Sarabjit. The film is slated to go on floors soon and is relied upon to discharge in May 2016.
