New Delhi, June 14 (IANS) Processed food and beverage manufacturer Del Monte on Tuesday said that it has launched eight new variants of its mayonnaise products.
According to the company, the range in vibrant new packaging is available at retail outlets starting June 2016.
“Mayonnaise is the fastest growing category in the condiments space in India. Due to its versatility, mayonnaise has found its place in Indian kitchens seamlessly,” said Yogesh Bellani, Chief Executive Officer, FieldFresh Foods.
“Del Monte has a rich range of emulsions in its portfolio and with the launch of the new variants, we aim to further strengthen it. A special focus has been laid on the packaging that stands out and effectively connects with the consumers,” Bellani said.
The company said its 265 gram eggless Mayo variant has been priced at Rs 80, and all other 265 gram variants are available at a price of Rs 85 each.
The F&B brand which originated in the US was brought to India in 2007 through a joint venture (JV) between Bharti Enterprises and Del Monte Pacific. The JV is called FieldFresh Foods.
