Delhi: 3 killed after fire breaks out in New Usmanpur’s slum

New Delhi, Jan.10 (ANI): At least three people were killed and a dozen shanties were gutted after a major fire broke out in Delhi’s New Usmanpur area on Saturday night.

Three children of the same family lost their lives and another sustained severe burns in the incident.

Senior District M of the area, I.S Yadav said that initial reports suggest that it might be a cylinder blast.

“One person has been injured and has sent to the hospital. Initially it seems that there has been a cylinder blast. There are three casualties and all of them are from the same family,” Yadav told ANI.

He also said that fire had been controlled within an hour. (ANI)
