New Delhi, July 19 (ANI): Five people were killed and over eight injured after a five-storey building collapsed in West Delhi’s Vishnu Garden area.
According to police officials, nine people, including four children, have been pulled out from the rubble; however, many are feared to be trapped.
Eight fire tenders have reached the spot. Rescue operations are also being carrying out the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
Those injured have been rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Jarnail Singh blamed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for the collapse.
“This is due to the MCD’s corruption. They are playing with the lives of the people,” he said. (ANI)
