“The rail operations in Haryana are yet to start because of the Jat agitation. So the Lahore-bound Samjhauta Express was cancelled today (Monday). It is likely to remain cancelled tomorrow (Tuesday) as well,” a Northern Railway official told IANS.
The Samjhauta Express has been cancelled since February 19, the official said, adding: “The operation of the train will begin only after the route is clear.”
Similarly, the bus service between Delhi and Lahore remained suspended.
