Delhi Police to install HD cameras at 200 places

New Delhi, Jan. 31 (ANI): The Delhi Police will soon install High Definition Cameras through Radio Link at 200 places across the national capital.

Special Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Muktesh Chander said that it would enable the police to assess traffic volume real time and capture images of even small objects causing obstructions on arterial roads. He also said that it would take traffic monitoring in the city to a new level.

He added that the project has already been started on a pilot basis at five important locations, which includes Dhaula Kuan, ITO junction and AIIMS.

He said the feeds received so far from four of the five chosen places have helped in traffic monitoring and regulation. (ANI)
