Delighted Bayliss says England upbeat for Proteas series

Johannesburg, Dec.25 (ANI): Delighted by his side’s last warm-up game victory, England coach Trevor Bayliss believes that his side are fully prepared and show good sign ahead of the upcoming Test series against South Africa.

Earlier, England displayed their strong preparation as they beat South Africa A team by an innings and 91 runs in their final warm-up match in Pietermaritzburg.

Reflecting on their win, the 53-year-old coach said that his side displayed an all-round performance, adding that it was important to get into a winning habit ahead of the tour against the world number one,Sport24 reported.

Bayliss, who was jubilant to see all top four batsmen scoring runs, insisted them to continue with their present form in the forthcoming series as well.

Meanwhile, South Africa, which suffered a 0-3 series defeat in the recently-concluded series Test against India, will aim to bounce back when they will take on England in four-match series, starting from Saturday. (ANI)
