Mumbai, Aug 1 (IANS) Designer Payal Khandwala and Lakme Salon are collaborating to present the Show Stopping Illuminate Bridal Collection at the upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016. The show will conceptualise fierce and modern hair and make-up looks.
“Our muse, a powerful yet gentle monarch, is not content playing princess, she’d rather be king. By blending opulent shades and gold, her style will truly encapsulate the supremacy of majestic women in every look,” Khandwala said in a statement.
Lakmé Salon’s Show Stopping Illuminate Bridal Collection will reinforce that in a modern day context. It’s a collection focusing on giving the new-age bride her stately moment to radiate and feel just like a king on her dream day.
“This season, through a colour palette that varies from elegant pastels, nudes and coral to royal red and gold, Lakmé Salon experts will provide two facets to the imperial bride: modern and classic,” said Sushma Khan, National Creative Director – Make-up, Lakmé Salon.
The Lakmé Salon hair and make-up experts Shailesh Moolya and Sushma Khan will showcase hair that’s nothing but regal and eyes that command attention, in this season’s collection of hair and make-up.
“This year, the hair styles for the collection book have been crafted depicting the bride as the new emperor. Modern and versatile, every style from this look book collection is diverse, catering to the bridal needs of every woman,” said Moolya, National Creative Director, Hair, Lakmé Salon.
