New Delhi, Sep 15 (IANS) Gurgaon-headquartered Developer Group India on Tuesday said it is expanding its real estate operations in the Britain along with Japanese realty giant Tama Home.
“Developer Group, after its initial success in India, is also now focusing on newer international markets and plans to launch residential projects in London by end of this year,” said the group’s managing director A.David Rebello.
Developer Group India is the first Japanese investor promoted real estate company, backed by leading Japanese corporate and institutions.
“In the initial phase, Developer Group will focus only on redevelopment projects but subsequently also intends enter into development of green field projects. Developer Group will be launching funds for the British realty market,” said Rebello.
“In course of time, we will expand our footprint to other lucrative European markets, too. We shall strive to be the bridge between Britain or European business opportunities with other regions,” he added.
Developer Group’s first two projects in India – in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh in a 20 hectare township and in Ludhiana in Punjab in a 60 hectare township – have already commenced, the statement said.
