‘Did PM Modi promise to end corruption to gain votes?’ asks Anna

New Delhi, July 26 (ANI): Social activist Anna Hazare on Sunday questioned the authenticity of Narendra Modi’s promise to the public to end corruption, and asked if the Prime Minister had made such a promise just to gain votes during the Lok Sabha elections.

“The Prime Minister had promised the public to put an end to corruption but look at the prevalent corruption. Did make a promise to the people just to get votes?” asked Anna.

Hazare had earlier today criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA Government over the delay in implementation of the One Rank, One Pension (OROP) scheme and urged the people to raise their voice on the issue. (ANI)
