Domino’s plans for expansion with 150 more stores in 2016: Jubilant

New Delhi, Feb 5 (ANI): Jubilant Foodworks opened its 1000th store of the Domino’s Pizza chain in the country. India’s largest and fastest growing food service company has opened close to 150 stores every year.

Continuing the expansion plans for the year 2016, CEO Jubilant Foodworks, Ajay Kaul said, “Outside of the US, India is the only country that has a 1000th store.”

“There is potential to continue the upward trend in future. In the second quarter of FY16, the company had opened 29 new pizza stores and seven new Dunkin Donuts stores across the country,” added Kaul.

The new store is expected to breakeven within two to three months of launch and costs can be recovered in two to three years Kaul added.

Besides Domino’s, Dunkin Donuts is also expected to continue growth streak and will open 25-30 stores this year. (ANI)
