New Delhi, July 1 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday dubbed Congress as an ‘anti-development party’ saying that the latter wanted to obstruct the government from developing the nation.
“Congress is an anti-development, anti-people, anti-growth party. It wants to hinder the development of the country. They could not do anything in the past ten years. So, they want to create problems against the government from making the country progress,” said BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government has stated that it will not broker a deal with the Congress during the upcoming Monsoon Session in the Parliament.
As per sources, the government has said that it is ready for any debate in the Parliament, whether on the Goods and Service Tax (GST) Bill or on the Land Acquisition Bill.
The Monsoon Session of Parliament is scheduled to begin on July 21, and will last for three weeks, concluding on August 13. (ANI)
