Radhika Apte…Acting is my job. If I am required to do a certain scene then I do it.

Actress Radhika Apte on Tuesday lost her temper with a media reporter for asking about the leaked nude scenes in her latest film Parched.

“Sorry, your question is ridiculous. Controversies are made by the people like you. You saw the clip, you shared with other people, so you made the controversy,” she said at the launch of Swatch watches on Tuesday.

Her anger was justifiable. She was no party to the leaked scene of the film which is already being shown on Netflix.

The media should have concentrated asking questions about the film which has been acclaimed by many reputed international critics in addition to winning awards at international film festivals.

Radhika is known to speak her mind always. Rather than keeping quiet about leaked love scene, she has stressed in all her interviews how the film was much more than that one leaked scene.

“I am an artist… if I am required to do a certain job then I will do it. If you get out of your cocoon and look at the world cinema and what people are doing abroad and that is too successfully then you would have not probably asked this question. I am not ashamed of anything.  People who are embarrassed about their own body are curious about other’s body. So if you want to see a naked body tomorrow, see yourself in the mirror rather than my clip. Then only we can talk about this,” she said.

Regarding the leaked scene from Parched, Radhika earlier said that she wasn’t disheartened when the leaked nude scenes from the film went viral. “It is not disheartening. I am not bogged down about it (nude scenes) coming out. I am not bothered about all these things,” Radhika said.
