Drunk driver responsible for death of woman motorist

Vaughan, October 16 (CINEWS): A 60-year-old Mississauga woman has died and a Brampton man is facing drunk driving charges following a crash on Highway 400 in Vaughan early Sunday morning. The two vehicle collision happened in the southbound lanes of the highway near Highway 407, at around 2 a.m.drunk driver
A vehicle with a lone male driver collided into the back of another vehicle with four occupants. All four occupants of the second vehicle were transported to hospital. One of the passengers, 60-year-old Arti Vyas of Mississauga, later died in hospital. The three other occupants sustained minor injuries.
Jonathan Ian Brown, 25, of Brampton, is charged with impaired driving causing death, three counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, three counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failing to provide a blood alcohol sample, possession of a schedule two substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose.
