Johannesburg, Mar 25 (ANI): Dutch football legend Johan Cruyff, who has passed away at the age of 68 after a battle with lung cancer, will reportedly be cremated on Friday in Barcelona.
According to Sport24, a leading Dutch daily said that the ceremony will be a private family one.
While expressing gratitude towards everyone who stood by them during this difficult phase, Cruyff’s son Jordi has urged fans to respect the privacy of the family in these emotional and sensitive times.
In addition to winning three European Cups with Ajax, Cruyff won three Ballon d’Or titles in his glorious career.
He also guided Barcelona to their first European Cup title as a manager in 1992. (ANI)
