SRK has ear for good music: Anubhav Sinha
Floored by Shah Rukh Khan’s praise for the music of “Tum Bin 2”, the film’s director Anubhav Sinha said the superstar — whom he directed in “Ra.One” — has a sense of good music.
“Really nice music. Wishing you all a happy film experience. Well done my friend,” Shah Rukh, who is caught in the midst of shooting Imtiaz Ali’s next in Budapest, Hungary, tweeted on Saturday.
While Sinha thanked the actor and sent out a “big hug” to him via social media, he said in a statement: “SRK has a phenomenal ear for good music.”
From “Ra.One”, “Chammak challo” had turned out to be a chartbuster.
The second installment of the 2001 film “Tum Bin” franchise is written and directed by Sinha and jointly produced by him with Bhushan Kumar of the T-Series music label.
“Bhushan Kumar and I are happy the music of the film is being received so well. We have quite a few songs to go and we hope the audiences give us a similar response to each song,” Sinha added.
So far, “Teri fariyad”, featuring Rekha Bhardwaj and late Jagjit Singh, and “Ishq mubarak” featuring Arijit Singh, are out from the “Tum Bin 2” album and are garnering praise.
“Tum Bin 2”, featuring Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati, will hit the screens on November 18.
