Ed Sheeran sued for $20 million

The authors of Amazing — Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard — have hired Richard Busch as their lawyer.  English vocalist Ed Sheeran, known for his acoustic anthems and pop singles, has been sued for $20 million by legal counselors who claim that his song Photograph is ripped off from X Factor winner Matt Cardle’s track Amazing.ed_sheeran_2

The song , which turned out in 2014 with his second studio collection Multiply, is said to have been ““copied, and exploited, without authorisation or credit, the work of other active, professional songwriters, on a breathtaking scale” by Ed and co-essayist Johnny McDaid (of Snow Patrol) who “brazenly” assumed praise, as per court reports got by Dailymail.co.uk.

The authors of Amazing — Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard — have enlisted Richard Busch as their lawyer, who as of late won copyright encroachment claim against Robin Thicke and Pharrell for the song  Blurred Lines.  – CINEWS
