Elmer Safety Awards to recognize children within Region of Peel

When it comes to safety, Elmer the Elephant never forgets our kids!  Preparations are officially underway for the 22nd Annual Elmer Safety Recognition Awards

Ten awards will be presented to children who reside in the Region of Peel for outstanding acts of safety on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Emil Kolb Centre at 180 Derry Road, Mississauga.

Members of the Academy, Peel Regional Police, and various local dignitaries will be on hand to congratulate these elementary school children for using their initiative, good citizenship, and adherence to safety principles to make our community safer. Ten elementary school students will receive awards and citation certificates.
