Washington. D.C., Sept. 29 (ANI): Emma Watson, who has always raised her voice against female inequality, used numerical facts to explain sexism in tinsel town.
In a recent interview, the 25-year-old actress revealed that she was the victim of sexism, adding that she had been directed by male directors seventeen times and only twice by women, People Magazine reports.
The ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ actress further said that she had worked with the 13 male producers and only one has been a woman.
She added “I have always insisted on being treated equally and have generally won that equality.”
Watson believes that some of the best feminists she has encountered are directors Steven Chbosky and James Ponsoldt. (ANI)
