London, July 16 (ANI): Caitlyn Jenner, who was recently honored with ESPYs award in L.A., got emotional while giving away her winning speech and said that one should always accept people the way they are.
The ‘I Am Cait’ star said while receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage award that she being a public personality gives her a lot of responsibility as every single act of her is being absorbed and observed by thousands of young people, but one should be sure of his action and even people should accept them the way they are, the Mirror reported.
The 64-year-old former Olympian added that transgenders deserve people’s respect as it will help them to come out freely and will also help in creating better world for everyone.
The American reality star shared that she always knew she was different than everybody else, and could play the male gender role, but she always felt female and felt like she was hiding herself from everybody.
She further thanked her family and children for supporting her through her hard time and Diane Sawyer for giving her a platform to come out and express herself to her fans.
