Emraan Hashmi starrer ‘Tigers’ faces disputes from Four years ago

2014s starring Emraan Hashmi ‘Tigers’ premiered at the 2014 ‘Toronto International Film Festival’.

The film’s music was composed by Pritam.

But despite premiering at an International film festival, the movie hasn’t seen the light of day in India.

Talking about it and Emran confirms, “We went to Berlin, Toronto and New York. But it did not release here in India. There was a dispute between the producers here, and the film could not release when it had to, four years ago.”

“By the time this dispute was sorted, there was one more, the India-Pakistan issue. I play a Pakistani in the film. We cannot have a release in this environment,” he added.

The film is based on a real-life story, about a salesman working with Nestle, the famous Swiss multinational gaint,in Pakistan, discovers its truths, while selling baby formula products, and tries to fight against the system.
