This year will be memorable one for Emraan Hashmi. Emraan , who turned writer with his book ‘The Kiss Of Life’ a couple of months back, is currently set to establish as a producer with his banner Emraan Hashmi Films.
Known as the ‘hero of the masses’, he played a cricketer in his recent outing, ‘Azhar’. A considerable chunk of its collections came from multiplexes.
After winning praise for his performance in the movie based on the life and times of the former Indian cricket captain, he attributed a major part of the credit to its director Tony D’Souza. In fact, the Bollywood star was so pleased with the response that he approached the man behind ‘Azhar’ to helm his banner’s maiden production venture.
They are both working on next venture , the subtle elements of which are being kept under wraps. The director says that , We are currently finalising the script and casting. We are planning to start the film in the last quarter of this year.”This film will be produced by Emraan’s company and Oddball Motion Pictures, which is owned by the Tony and Nitin Upadhyaya. – CINEWS
