Michael Jackson…Children write sonnets.

Michael Jackson is gone, but his legacy lives on.

Seven years after his death, fans and family alike took to social media to honour the late King of Pop on what would’ve been his 58th birthday. Paris Jackson, 18, and Prince Jackson, 19, paid tribute to their father on Instagram, both sharing a sonnet written by “Michael Jackson Jr.” (aka Prince).

Paris re-grammed her sibling’s poem, adding, “love this.. proud of you big brother. and happy birthday to the man that means more to us than anything and anyone ever could.”

Prince provided his own simple commentary with the original, writing, “Happy birthday to the Man who was more than a legend. I love you.”

The Jackson family released a statement on Twitter: We’re so touched to see such an outpouring of love for Michael in celebration with your events, pics, posts & thoughts. #MichaelJacksonDay.
