Mumbai, January 29 (CINEWS): Performing artist Dhanush, who is foraying into Hollywood with Iranian-French chief Marjane Satrapi’s up and coming film, says it is the wishes of his fans that continue “pushing” him forward in life.
“Elated to sign my first Hollywood film @The_Fakir coordinated by Marjane Satrapi. A major thank you to for the warm wishes, continues pushing me,” Dhanush, who will impart screen space to “Kill Charge” star Uma Thurman, tweeted on Thursday.
The film which will see Dhanush augment his points of view is ” “The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Cupboard” , a comic drama experience story in light of Romain Puertolas’ eponymous novel which turned out in 2014 and has been interpreted into 35 dialects.
The novel identifies with the journey of a rascal from India to an IKEA store in Paris which transforms into a philosophical odyssey.
The film will take after his voyage from New Delhi to Paris where he becomes hopelessly enamored with a lady and inadvertently gets extradited alongside a band of African evacuees to the most distant corners of Europe without wanting to.
It will likewise star “Bandit Queen” performing artist Seema Biswas, Alexandra Daddario, Barkhad Abdi and Laurent Lafitte in crucial parts.
