Fertilisers prices won’t increase in next four years, says Hansraj Ahir

Karimanagar, Jan. 23 (ANI): Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers Hansraj Gangaram Ahir has said that the prices of fertilisers such as urea and DAP (Di-ammonium phosphate) will not be increased for next four years.

Ahir inspected the plant of Fertilizer Corporation of India here.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said all the eight fertiliser plants of national stature which were closed down during the previous UPA regime will be reopened.

The Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers also mentioned that the works on six plants have already begun, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will re-commission the FCI factory in Ramagundam during the second week of next month.

He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay foundation stone for the Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) during the second week of February. (ANI)
