Karan Johar revealed the incident that he hasn’t played Holi after the age of 10, during a special episode of his talent based reality show.

The reason for this he stated that his friend Abhishek Bachchan, the filmmaker had hurt himself during the festival.

Apparently, Abhishek Bachchan had threw the filmmaker in a pool of coloured water.

Karan Johar recalled, “I fondly remember visiting Amitji’s house for Holi when I was 10-years-old. I told him why I feared the festival so much. That’s when Abhishek came inside the room, picked me up and threw me in a pool of coloured water. That was the end of my love for Holi and I haven’t played ever since.”

Karan Johar shares a good bond with both Abhishek and his sister Shweta, children of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya.
