Firearm and drugs seized in raids; 5 arrested

Peel-Regional-PoliceInvestigators with the Street Crime Gang Unit of the Peel Regional Police have arrested three men and two women after executing two search warrants and seizing a handgun, ammunition and a quantity of drugs. This is the third firearm the Street Crime Gang Unit has seized in the last week during three separate investigations.

On Wednesday, June 15, 2016, police executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Webb Drive in Mississauga. On Thursday, June 16, 2016, in relation to the same investigation, officers also executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an address on Lakeshore Road West in Toronto. As a result of the search warrants, investigators seized a quantity of drugs, including heroin, oxycodone and marijuana, as well as a 9 mm Firearm, a magazine loaded with ammunition, and several additional rounds of ammunition.

Dennis Tanieve, a 22 year-old male from Brampton, has been arrested and charged with the following drugs and weapons related charges: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- Marihuana, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone x 2, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin, Breach Recognizance, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Careless Storage of a Firearm and Careless Storage of Ammunition and Breach Prohibition Order.

Lukasz Obrzut, a 32 year old male from Mississauga, has been arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Breach Probation.

Jeanette Katarzyna Magiera, a 41 year-old female from Mississauga, has been arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Marijuana.

Pamela Filochowski, a 21 year old female from Brampton, has been arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone, Unauthorized Possession of a firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Careless Storage of Firearm, Careless Storage of Ammunition

ett, a 23 year old male from Mississauga, has been arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking- oxycodone, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Careless Storage of Firearm, Careless Storage Ammunition.
