New Delhi, Apr. 5 (ANI): Ever since the pug became the mascot of Vodafone India, the people have developed a fondness for this dog breed.

Pet get togethers and pet pampering events is now emerging as a fashion statement, thanks to Pet Fed, which has over the last two years introduced the concept of outings with your beloved pets.

Recently, both brands collaborated to organise the ‘Pug Parade’ at DLF Place Saket to launch the Vodafone SuperNet 4G campaign.

This unique ‘Pug Parade’ got a tremendous response from Pug owners and the fans from Delhi NCR which reflected in the long bee-line for participation at the event.

Kritika, who was present at the event with her 11-month old pug, told ANI, “It is very nice because you get to know how the other pugs are being brought up and it becomes a sort of an outing for us along with our pets. The only thing that’s

bothering is the weather, else I am loving to be here.”

“I think it is pretty good because even dogs get the opportunity to socialise. It is important to have such events not only for us but for dogs because they just go for a walk and come back home. I have been to other event of Pet Fed and it was very good,” said Prerna Mehta, the owner of a two-year old pug.

The parade was an amalgamation of fun engagements like fashion show besides exciting photo booths, free vet check-up and games etc.

Akshay Gupta, the founder of Pet Fed, while talking about his association with Vodafone India, said the main motive is to bring brands closer to their consumers by sharing the common love for pets.

“Our partnership with Vodafone was well strategised as Vodafone’s pug ‘Cheeka’ resonates with pet lovers and has become one of the most successful brand ambassadors. Pet Fed will bring more such events across India where we will enable more brands to reach out to their users,” he added.

The event also had various competitions, wherein cute named pugs, oldest pug, youngest pug, cutest selfies and so on were given goodies. (ANI)
