Food delivery man robbed

Mississauga, April 15 (CINEWS): Peel Regional Police sent officers from its tactical and canine units to search for a suspect after a person delivering food this evening was robbed.
Peel police said they received a call around 9 p.m. about the robbery that happened in the area of Glen Hawthrone Boulevard and Hurontario Street. Police said the delivery person had arrived at an address with an order of food and got out of their car to make the delivery when they were approached by a man with a weapon. The suspect robbed the delivery person of their money before fleeing on foot.
The victim wasn’t injured. Police declined to say what sort of weapon was used.
Police are searching for the suspect who’s described as being about 5-foot-10 with a slim build and was wearing dark clothing. That description could fit thousands of residents. Anyone with information can call Peel police at 905-453-2121 ext. 1233.
