Given the distances, finding conveniently located LCBO stores has been a challenge for many residents, but now things could change.
Four locations in Caledon were named as potentials for LCBO Convenience Outlet Authorizations back in June- Palgrave, Mono Mills, Caledon Village and Inglewood.
The villages were part of the provincial government LCBO expansion plan that would allow 200 LCBO Convenience Outlets across the province.
In Caledon Village, owner Karan Pansi, of the Esso Station at Charleston Sideroad and Cataract Road has not wasted the opportunity or time, he has already stocked shelves with a small selection of liquor, wine, beer and ciders, including a cold fridge for some chilled varieties. -CINEWS
