The City of Brampton is taking the environment rather seriously these days. Plans are in place for a total of 32 stations across the city to be operational by the end of 2016.
Charging stations are currently available at the following locations:
• City Hall parking garage (Level P2)
• Rose Theatre Brampton parking garage (Level 2)
• Flower City Community Campus (in front of Building 1)
• Civic Centre (at the southwest corner of the building)
Mayor Linda Jeffrey said the city is moving to help make electric vehicles more convenient for residents and businesses. Outlets are free for the public to use, although normal parking fees apply in pay parking lots.
The city’s charging stations were brought online with the support of Partners in Project Green — a coalition of businesses government bodies, institutions and utilities.
