French Embassy to mark French gastronomy

New Delhi, Mar. 19 (ANI): On the occasion of the major global culinary event ‘Gout de France Good France,’ a dinner celebrating French gastronomy will be hosted by French Embassy in India and HRH Group of Hotels.

The event will take place on Monday, 21st March 2016 at Manek Chowk, The City Palace, Udaipur.

This remarkable dinner will be prepared by young Michelin-starred French chef Sebastien Sanjou, who works in the gourmet, fine-dining restaurant, le Relais des Moines, in Arcs-sur-Argens, southern France.

Mr. Sanjou will unveil a vegetarian menu, specially conceived for this evening, accompanied by French wines, for Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar, Chairman, HRH Group of Hotels, H.E. Mr François Richier, Ambassador of France to India and attending guests.

Domaine national de Chambord and MMCF had signed a memorandum of understanding in April 2015 on the occasion of the visit to France of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

These two outstanding institutions of India and France are collaborating on a host of cultural activities with an aim to share knowledge, skills and experience with regard to conservation and presentation of cultural and natural heritage. (ANI)
