French fashion brand Chloe now in India

Mumbai, March 10 (IANS) French fashion brand Chloe has forayed into the Indian market with an exclusive partnership with Le Mill, a concept store that stocks the best of international designer brands such as Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Balmain and Valentino.

Starting this month, Le Mill added Chloe Bags Spring-Summer 2016 collection to their lineup, read a statement.

Chloe was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, who helped redefine French fashion in the post-war period.

She created soft, body conscious clothes from fine fabrics and called them “luxury prêt-à-porter”. This marked the beginning of the brand. Today, Chloe has a range of products in categories such as apparel, accessories and beauty.

Speaking on the brand, Chloe’s creative director Clare Waight Keller said: “Chloé speaks to me on so many levels. First because it’s feminine. I love the free-spirited, effortless attitude, the kind of girl Chloé is. It’s about those fabulous pieces you wear so many different ways and the spirit of confidence you have when you wear them. It’s real.”
