French President Hollande to kick off India tour from Jan 24

New Delhi, Jan. 21: French President François Hollande will be arriving in Chandigarh on a three-day visit to India on the afternoon of January 24, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will join.

The visiting dignitary will visit famous Rock Garden, and thereafter, address a CEOs forum along with Prime Minister Modi. President Hollande and Prime Minister Modi will also address the India-French Business Summit on the same day. In the evening, President Hollande will leave for Delhi.

He will be accorded ceremonial reception at the forecourts of the Rashtrapati Bhawan on January 25. Later, he will be holding bilateral talks with the Prime Minister at Hyderabad House.

He will also be visiting Gurgaon to inaugurate the interim secretariat of International Solar Alliance.

On January 26, President Hollande will be the Chief Guest at the Republic Day function. He will also have a meeting with President Pranab Mukherjee.

In the afternoon, President Hollande will be given reception by the French Community here. He will be leaving for Paris in the evening. (ANI)
