Pune, Sept. 11 (ANI): The hunger strike by three students of the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune demanding removal of actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan as FTII chairman entered its second day on Friday.
A Representative of FTII Students Association said that their hunger strike is indefinite, if the fasting students are hospitalised they will be replaced by another batch of protesters.
At present the condition of the students was stable, according to students’ representatives.
FTII Director Prashant Pathrabe who visited the students later told reporters that a periodical medical check-up would be done on them to ensure their well-being. (ANI)
