Fun for children, adults promised at Peel Police ‘Fun Day’ on Saturday

The Annual Peel Police Day will be hosted on Saturday, May 12. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., by the Peel Regional Police.

The Peel Police Fun Day is  being held at the Emil V. Kolb Centre for Police Excellence at 180 Derry Rd. E. in Mississauga (south side of Derry, between Hurontario Street and Kennedy Road.

There will be displays set up by the Bomb Unit, K-9, Tactical and Rescue Unit, Auxiliary Police, Crime Stoppers, Crime Prevention and the Marine Unit.

For children, there will be a bouncy tent, face painting, grab bags, a chance to dress up like a police officer and have their “mug shot” taken and. Food, like hot dogs, hamburgers, samosas, pop and water, will be available  at a nominal price

A free shuttle service will run from Peel Regional Police headquarters at 7750 Hurontario Street (south of Steeles Avenue) in Brampton, the police said in a release. – CINEWS
