Gorakhpur resident sets ‘Phillumeny’ record in Limca Book of Records

New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): A textile merchant by profession, Kishan Chand Rastogi has got his name registered in the Limca Book of Records for collecting 85,000 matchboxes from 185 countries since the past 32 years.

Rastogi, who is a resident of Alinagar in Gorakhpur district, had got his name registered earlier in 1991 as well for his collection of different types of matchboxes.

His collection boasts of a matchbox with 11 inch long matchsticks, and a matchbox purchased from America’s Bob Johns which looks like a shoe.

His collection also has the thickest matchstick that can burn for six minutes and the smallest matchstick which is just two centimetres long. (ANI)
