Johannesburg, Jan. 29 (ANI): Graham Ford is set to begin his second term as Sri Lanka’s head coach after Surrey confirmed that the South African is leaving the English county championship side to take up the position.

The 55-year-old had previously coached Sri Lanka from 2012 until 2014 before joining Surrey.

Alec Stewart, the director of cricket of Surrey, said that it was a very tough decision for Graham to leave Surrey but added that they understand that the opportunity to go back and coach at international level with Sri Lanka was too good to turn down, Sport24 reported.

Ford had guided the club to the county championship second division title last season. (ANI)
