New Delhi, March 31 (ANI): Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, who has always been vocal about his wish to win a Grammy, has now expressed his desire to grab a National Award as well.
In an exclusive interview with ANI in the national capital, the ‘Blue Eyes’ hit-maker said, “I really hope I bag a Grammy and I also won’t mind winning a National Award someday for my work.”
Talking about his Grammy dreams, the 33-year-old music producer said, “I have mentioned in my songs about winning a Grammy because that’s what I think and even Indians deserve to win Grammys.”
“Martin King Luther had a vision and look today US has a black president. And even if I don’t manage to bag the Grammy Award, my name will still be mentioned everywhere as I will always be known as a guy with a vision”, he added.
Honey Singh also said he wants to rap and make music with Hip-Hop biggie Dr. Dre.
Honey Singh will soon be seen kicking the bad guys in his debut lead role in Punjabi Film ‘Zorawar’ that will hit the theatres on May 6, 2016.
He recently landed in national capital to launch the first song from the film titled ‘Raat Jashan Di.’
Yo Yo Honey Singh was missing from the public eye from last 18 months as the rapper revealed he was suffering from bipolar disorder. (ANI)
