New Delhi, July 20 (ANI): The Left Parties, who kicked off the countrywide protests today against the alleged corruption in BJP- ruled Centre and states, asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make his Cabinet ‘corruption free’ and demanded the resignation of all the tainted ministers in the BJP-led NDA Government.
CPI (M) leader Brinda Karat questioned the silence of Prime Minister Modi despite the latest controversies surrounding his ministers and party colleagues.
“Modiji’s silence is a deafening silence. He says that he wants India to be corruption free. We say at least make your Cabinet corruption free. Make the Chief Minister’s posts corruption free.but unfortunately the Prime Minister who speaks about everything in the world has not said even a single word about this,” she told ANI.
CPI leader D. Raja informed that it is a call given by six Left Parties against corruption.
“Lalit Modi, Vyapam, IPL and what is happening in Rajasthan.we are demanding that all the tainted ministers should quit. Prime Minister Modi is keeping a mysterious silence. He has not uttered a single word on all these scams. These scams are eating the vitals of our democracy and our system,” Raja said.
“The Left Parties have decided to take out a countrywide protest as a part of it Delhi, we are marching towards Jantar Mantar. We will raise our voice in a strong way,” he added. (ANI)
