Delhi man covers himself with tattoos, removes all teeth to set Guinness records

guinessrishiA tale of a bizarre man, seeking bizarre world records is now trending across India. Guinness Rishi, 67, of India (formerly known as Har Parkash) claims to  hold over 20 Guinness World Records and is going hunting for some more.

He has about 500 flags tattooed across his body and plans to add some more. His face has many ‘important tattoos’ – the flags of India, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Cyprus and the Indian National Congress, among others. There are 60 1″ tattoos on his head. He also has ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not’ tattooed on his forehead and a map of the world on his abdomen.

Har Prakash was born in a cinema hall in New Delhi in 1942 and gained his first entry into the Guinness Book of Records in 1990, when he rode a scooter in the capital for 1001 hours, along with two friends.

Other bizarre acts followed, including one of delivering a pizza made in New Delhi to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum in San Francisco- 10,286 miles – and downing a full-size bottle of tomato ketchup in 40 seconds.

He holds the record for building the tallest tower made of sugar cubes – 64 inches high -and in 2001 of adopting his brother-in-law Ravinder Kumar Vig, who became the oldest adopted person in the world at 61 years of age.

Guinness Rishi, who runs an auto parts manufacturing unit also got all his teeth removed – to set a record of putting 500 drinking straws and 50 burning candles in his mouth. He could insert 496 straws and after setting the record, he reenacted the feat in front of news cameras.

His family is also involved in the game, with his wife Bimla setting a record in 1991 for writing the shortest will in the world “All to son.” The family however, argues with him over the expense involved in his tattoo works.

Guinness Rishi is now planning to get images of other world leaders to add to the images of Narendra Modi, Mahatma Gandhi, Barack Obama and Queen Elizabeth II tattooed on his body. – CINEWS
